Sam and Josh Magee into semi-final

Congratulations to Sam and Joshua Magee who created history by securing at least a bronze medal in the first ever European Games.

The Irish pair beat Mayijs Dierickx and Freek Golinski of Belgium in the quarterfinals.

They now face the current European champions Vladimir Ivanov and Ivan Sozonov. On the other side of the draw the hot favourites will be the Olympic Silver medallists Carsten Mogensen and Mathias Boe.
