0° is the freezing point. The moment before something new begins. Season Zero marks the beginning. The earliest moment of a new chapter for ice-sports in Ireland.
Prime Arena is set to become Ireland’s new national hub for winter sports. A world-class, multi-purpose arena in Cherrywood, Dublin designed to accommodate elite athlete training and the development of Ireland’s first professional ice hockey team. The venue will provide a permanent base for high-performance winter sport, supporting athletes at all levels and helping grow Ireland’s presence on the international stage.
Prime Arena Holdings invites those from across Ireland’s sporting landscape to join an early register of interest and be part of this exciting venture from the outset.
The project will deliver two Olympic-sized ice rinks, an 8,000-capacity arena (expandable to over 10,500 for major events and concerts), and year-round access to ice sports and major international sporting events.
For those that register, Season Zero offers:
- First access to opening night tickets and premium experiences
- Inclusion on the priority list for hospitality, sponsorship and corporate opportunities
- Early updates as key milestones are reached and plans progress
- Priority invitations to launch events and early-stage briefings
- And more to follow- on and off the ice
Working with global design firm Populous, and with planning submission on track for July, the venture is expected to contribute approximately €298 million annually to the Irish economy, supporting thousands of jobs and driving significant visitor activity, while strengthening Dublin’s position as an international sporting destination.
