Silver for Woolley in US Open Taekwondo Championships

In the early hours of this morning Team Irelands Jack Woolley made the podium at the US Open Taekwondo Championships in Las Vegas.

The silver medal at this G2 ranking event gives him 12 important world & Olympic ranking points towards Tokyo 2020 and comes off the back of his recent Gold medal in Turkey in late February.

The 20 year old Tallaght fighter had 4 impressive wins under his belt before eventually succumbing to his rival #2 World Ranked Jesus Tortosa the tall Spaniard who Jack beat previously on his way to a Grand Prix medal back in 2018.
