About Rhythmic Gymnastics

Rhythmic gymnastics combines gymnastics, dance and the use of handheld apparatus, including the ribbon, hoop, ball and clubs, performed to music in individual and group routines judged on artistry and technical execution. It has been part of the Olympic programme since 1984 and is contested exclusively by women.
