Katie Taylor led Team Ireland in a spectacular Opening Ceremony in the National Stadium in Baku last night.
Team Ireland were represented in the ceremony by athletes from:Archery (Darren Wallace, Sinead Cunningham),Boxing (Kate Taylor, Michaela Walsh, Ceire Smith, Brendan Irvine, Kurt Walker, Dean Gardiner, Sean McComb, Adam Nolan, Michael O’Reilly, Darren O’Neil, Myles Casey, Dean Walsh), Gymnastics (Ellis O’Reilly,Nicole Mawhinney, Tara Donnelly, Daniel Fox, Rohan Sebastian) , Karate (Karen Dolphin), Shooting (Derek Burnett) and Wrestling ( Alex Dolly) Chef de Mission Dermot Henihan and Deputy Chef de Mission Stephen Martin.
