Team Ireland Baku 2015

There was a glorious homecoming for Members of Team Ireland at Dublin Airport, where Ireland’s six medal winners at the inaugural European Games in Baku passed through the arrival gates of Terminal 1.

Well done to all of Team Ireland athletes and performance support team.

Team Ireland athletes in the inaugural 2015 European Games were supported by an experienced performance support team led by Chef de Mission Dermot Henihan and Deputy Chef de Mission Stephen Martin.

Team Ireland were represented in 14 sports and by 62 athletes  Team Ireland_Baku_Bios

Over 6,000 athletes from the 50 National Olympic Committees of Europe competed in 20 sports over 17 consecutive days at Baku 2015.
