Irish athletes and support personel from the sports of Badminton, Boxing, Canoeing, Cycling, Fencing, Rowing, Shooting and Swimming will be in attendance.The Team will wear their John Rocha Opening Ceremony outfits.
Guests include OCI President Pat Hickey, Irish Ambassador to China Declan Kelleher, together with OCI sponsors and guests.
At the Ceremony the children from Beijing Dong Goa Di Foreign Language School will sing the Beijing Olympic songs. This school is twinned with Scoil Mhuire Primary School in Howth, Co Dublin.
