BIOGRAPHY

Three time Olympian, Pat McDonagh is one of just three athletes to have represented Ireland at both a Summer and Winter Olympic Games.

He started out his Olympic career in rowing at the 1980 Moscow Olympics where he was part of the Men’s Coxed Fours. He competed in the same event again at Seoul 1988 before transitioning to Bobsleigh for the men’s two man at the 1992 Albertville Games. where he was also the flagbearer for Team Ireland.
