BIOGRAPHY

Ian Fitzpatrick played in the men's rugby sevens tournament at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where Ireland placed tenth on the country's debut in Olympic rugby sevens.

He developed through Blackrock College and Leinster Rugby before joining the Ireland national sevens programme during the team's rise on the World Rugby Sevens Series.

He is from Ratoath, County Meath.
