BIOGRAPHY

Amee-Leigh Murphy-Crowe was Ireland's leading scorer at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, crossing for three tries and 15 points in the women's rugby sevens tournament, where Ireland placed eighth on the team's first appearance at the Olympic Games. She was one of three players in the squad who had come through the 2016 and 2020 qualification cycles.

She is Ireland's record try-scorer on the World Rugby Sevens Series, with 228 tries and 985 points. She was the Series' leading try-scorer in 2021-22 with 36 tries, and was nominated for World Rugby Sevens Player of the Year in 2022.

Murphy-Crowe began her rugby with Galbally RFC and progressed through the national sevens programme. She is from Tipperary Town, County Tipperary.
