Rachael Darragh became the second member of her family to compete in Olympic badminton when she played the women's singles at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, where her group included the Olympic champion Carolina Marin of Spain.

Darragh comes from one of Ireland's great badminton families and is from Raphoe, County Donegal.
