British Olympic Association (BOA) Chief Executive Bill Sweeney and Leah Davis, Head of Marketing, met with Olympic Council of Ireland (OCI) President and OCI Chief Executive Stephen Martin today in Howth.
Pat Hickey said ” We have a close relationship with the BOA and we were delighted to discuss mutually beneficial topics this morning during the visit”
In 2013 BOA Chairman Lord Seb Coe and OCI President Patrick Hickey signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) in Howth, pledging to co-operate in the fields of sport and the development of excellence in sport.
The cooperation agreement outlines, among other things, that the OCI and the BOA will encourage the development of exchange programmes of athletes and officials.
