Ireland’s number one badminton star, Scott Evans from Dublin, has been awarded a place in the Men’s Singles event at the Beijing Olympics.

Congratulations to Badminton's Cormac Breslin who has been invited to umpire at the Beijing Olympic Games 2008. We wish Cormac, who is a BE certificated umpire and BWF certificated umpire, best wishes in Beijing.

After a tremendous performance in qualifying for the final of the recent Croatian Open, Scott Evans has been rewarded with the offer of a weeks practice at the French National Badminton Centre in Paris.
