Michael Conlan savoured his RTÉ Sport Person of the Year award as he capped off a memorable year in style.
The Belfast man took bantamweight gold in Doha, Qatar in October – the first ever Irishman to become the World Championship boxing champion.
The 24-year-old, who is also a European and Commonwealth champion, is hungry to keep his momentum going as he gears up for a crack at Olympic gold in Rio in 2016.
