Briege Corkery and Rena Buckley are joint winners of the Irish Times/Sport Ireland Sportswoman of the Year award for 2015.
The Cork GAA stars received the award at a ceremony in the Shelbourne Hotel on Friday.
Those two championship wins represented both players’ 16th All-Ireland medals in total.
Katie Taylor was also presented with an award for her outstanding Boxing achievements.
Meanwhile long distance runner Catherina McKiernan received the Outstanding Contribution to Women’s Sport 2015 Award.
