Derek Burnett receives place in the Olympic Trap event

The Irish Clay Pigeon Shooting Association’s – Derek Burnett became the 40th Irish athlete to qualify for London 2012 when the ICPSA received a quota place in the Olympic Trap event.

This allocation was based on Burnett’s Bronze medal finish at the 2010 ESC European Championships in Kazan, Russia.

The Games in London will be the Longford shooter’s 4th consecutive Olympics.
