Design the Nanjing YOG Medal?

Calling all YOG fans and budding young designers! The IOC are giving you the chance to be part of the Youth Olympic Games by designing the medal for the next summer edition, in Nanjing in 2014!

All you have to do is go to www.medaldesigncompetition.com, get inspired and submit your very own design. The competition opens today and runs until 30 November 2013.
A prestigious judging panel, including the man behind the iconic London 2012 Olympic cauldron, Thomas Heatherwick, and Singapore 2010 Youth Olympic Games 400m hurdles champion Aurélie Chaboudez, will select the winner and two runners-up to be announced in December 2013.
The winning designer will win a trip to Nanjing, tickets to the Opening Ceremony of the Youth Olympic Games and a full collection of medals featuring their design!
