"Festival of Handball"

Pat Hickey – President OCI attended the Irish Olympic Handball Association “Festival of Handball” last weekend.  He attended the Ireland v Faroe Island Game in Gormanstown College with IOHA President Fintan Lyons.  Scotland was also playing in this competition. This Festival was the largest handball event hosted in Ireland since 2005.  The Festival was used as a showpiece for new and existing athletes to show off their skills and to give Irelands young Team some international experience.  The Manager of the Faroe Island Football Team – Brian Kerr was also in attendance.
