Lisa Kearney produced a hugely encouraging performance ahead of the Olympics as she finished second in the World Cup Judo event in Tallinn, Estonia.
In her last World Cup outing before London, Kearney beat Russian opposition and the European Under-23 champion from Germany on the way to taking silver.
Kearney was narrowly beaten by France’s Aurore Climence in the final
The Belfast woman appears to be right in form after recovering from injury.
