Lithuanian NOC visit

OCI President Pat Hickey met with delegations from the Lithuanian National Olympic Committee and the Irish Clay Pigeon Shooting Association at the Olympic Headquarters in Howth yesterday.

 

Leading the Lithuanian delegation was Daina Gudzineviciute. Ms. Gudzineviciute, the recently elected Lithuanian NOC President, is a 5 Time Olympian in the sport of shooting and a gold medalist in the Trap event at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.  Also from Lithuania was Vaida Masalskyte, NOC Director International Relations.  The ICPSA were represented by John McCormack, Secretary General and Kevin Kilty, OCI Executive Board Member and Chairman of the International Shooting Sport Federation Coach Advisory Committee.

 

Mr. Hickey and the  delegations discussed developments within shooting and the forthcoming European Olympic Games which will be held in Baku, Azerbaijan in 2015.
