Congratulations to Chloe Magee on making it to the quarter final of the 2014 French Super Series over the weekend. Chloe eventually lost to World number one Xuerui Li of China. Magee who is ranked 32 matched the number one seed in the opening game only marginally losing out 21-19. In the second game the Chinese number one was in great form to win the match and a place in the semi final.
It was a good tournament for Chloe as she also made it to the last 16 in the Mixed doubles event where she and her brother Sam lost out to Tontowi Ahmad and Liliyana Natsir of Indonesia who are ranked 4 in the World.
Next up for the Irish will be the Bitburger Open in Germany where Team Ireland will be hoping to repeat the good form they have shown this week in France.
