Team Ireland are based in two of the Olympic Games Villages in Sochi, the Mountain Village MVL and the Endurance Village EVL. Athletes in the main indoor sports such as Curling, Ice Skating, Ice Hockey, and Speed Skating are situated in the Coastal Village. Official practice has started in many sports and first up today were Seamus O’Connor (Slopestyle), under the guidance of Sam Wilkinson. Alain Untergassmair organised for Conor Lyne and Florence Bell (Slalom) to share practice with the much fancied Italian Olympic Team.
In their New Balance performance gear the athletes enjoyed a 2 hour session in good weather conditions.
