Pat Hickey becomes Senior Vice President of ANOC

Pat Hickey has become the Senior Vice President for Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) for the period of 2012-2014. The announcement was made at the conclusion of the 2nd World Olympic Sports Convention on Tuesday in Moscow.

The Executive Council approved the decision of the five Continental Vice Presidents to nominate Pat Hickey as Senior Vice President of ANOC for the period 2012 – 2014.

ANOC is the Governing body responsible for the 203 Olympic Committees in the World.  ANOC affiliates the NOCS recognised by the International Olympic Committee.
