Peters (19 years old) finished in 27th place and this was the first time she has cracked the
Top 30 which is generally considering a benchmark for top level skaters at European and World Championships.
Peters said, ” I’m looking forward to the Worlds in Japan, I’m going to try to earn better scores for my elements and presentation. The week in Switzerland was good for me and i want to build on this at the World’s in Tokyo”
Clara’s next competition is the World Championships in Tokyo, Japan from 20 March 2011.
Note: Peters was the first Irish skater to appear at a European Championships in
2009. In 2011, over 160 skaters from 35 European countries competed in
the event in four different categories: ladies, men, pairs and ice dance.
