Rio 2016 and the Brazilian Mint have unveiled the medals that Team Ireland will be competing for in Brazil this August.
2,488 medals have been produced in total in accordance with strict sustainability guidelines.
The gold, silver and bronze medals each weigh 500 grams and feature images of Nike, the Panathenaic Stadium and the Acropolis of Athens on one side and the Rio 2016 logo on the other.
