1 in 5 children stop participating in sport at the transition from primary to secondary school, following on from this research Allianz Ireland have launched their #StoptheDrop campaign, aimed at helping keep children in sport.
Acknowledging the positive impact sport can have on everyone, but particularly in the lives of young people Allianz are raising awareness but also working to be part of the solution to encourage young people from all backgrounds to get active and stay active for life. A cause closely aligned to the values of the Olympic Federation of Ireland.
