The next Winter Edition of the European Youth Olympic Festival will take place in Turkey, in Erzurum, from 11 to 18 February 2017
Erzurum is the highest city of Turkey which is located on a plateau and surrounded by mountains and highlands. It is Turkey’s largest and most populous city in Eastern Anatolia. Erzurum, the elevation of which is about 2000 m. from the sea has been inhabited since the early days of history. As of 2014, the city population is 766.729. City is also known for its historical monuments and winter sports facilities.
