Jennifer Lehane

Jennifer Lehane became the first Irish female bantamweight to box at an Olympic Games, at Paris 2024, where she received a bye into the round of 16 and met Chang Yuan of China, who went on to win the gold medal.

Lehane was a successful taekwondo competitor from a young age before turning to boxing. She is from Ashbourne, County Meath.
