Aoife O'Rourke won World Championship gold in 2025, and European Championship gold in 2022 and again in 2024.

She boxed in the women's middleweight division at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games, reaching the round of 16.

O'Rourke came through the Irish amateur system with Castlerea Boxing Club and has boxed for Ireland at World Championships. She is from Castlerea, County Roscommon.
