BIOGRAPHY

Peter Connor competed in the men’s K-2 1000 metres canoe sprint at the 1988 Seoul Olympic Games alongside Declan Burns, finishing 4th in the semi-final.

A student at Kings Hospital, where his canoeing career began, and a member of the Salmon Leap Canoe Club in Leixlip. Connor prepared for the Seoul Games in ideal conditions on the waterways surrounding Enniskillen, home to his K2 partner . Connor’s 4th in the semi-final was the best result of the Irish canoe sprint team at Seoul.
