Frank O’Connor

Frank O'Connor was a member of the Irish basketball team at the 1948 London Olympic Games. From Caherciveen, County Kerry, he also represented Kerry in Gaelic football. He was introduced to the Olympic competition in the second half against Cuba alongside Patrick Sheriff and Tommy Malone. Ireland finished 23rd and last of 23 nations.
