BIOGRAPHY

Oliver Dingley finished eighth in the final of the 3 metres springboard at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games, the first time an Irish diver had reached an Olympic final. His final drew the largest RTE television audience of any sports event at those Games.

He also competed at Tokyo 2020, placing 25th in the preliminary round of the same event.

Dingley grew up in Harrogate, North Yorkshire, and qualifies for Ireland through his grandmother, who is from Spike Island, County Cork. He is based in Dublin.
