The aim of the Opening and Closing Ceremonies is to recognize the athletes of the Baku 2015 European Games, to celebrate the cultural and artistic achievements of the city and country and launch the inaugural European Games.
The cultural programme will also feature medal ceremonies, a Torch programme and city street sport activities. The Opening Ceremony will take place on June 12th 2015 at 21.00 hrs.
