Sarah Lavin added to a great afternoon on the track when she won a bronze medal in the 110m hurdles in a personal best time of 13.62.
North Down’s Mathew Martin just missed out on a place in the boys Javelin final. Martin threw a PB of 62.72.
The boys relay team were 11th fastest in the 4 x 100m relay in a time of 42.67 and missed out on a place in the final. Ireland were represented by Ben Kiely, Greg O’Shea, Karl Griffin and Marcus Lawlor.
