Aidan Walsh won a bronze medal in the welterweight division at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, securing the medal by beating Merven Clair of Mauritius in the quarter-finals. An ankle injury prevented him from taking part in the semi-final.
He won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, on the same day his sister Michaela won the women's featherweight title.
Walsh returned as a two-time Olympian at Paris 2024, finishing joint 17th, having secured his place through a box-off at the final Olympic qualifier in Thailand. He is from Belfast.
