MARIBOR EUROPEAN YOUTH OLYMPIC FESTIVAL

Maribor, a city with a big heart for sports, is proud that the city will come alive in the Olympic spirit during the European Youth Olympic Festival. This will give athletes from fifty countries and visitors the opportunity to come together in a unique event and strengthen the values of fair play, friendship and tolerance. With an exceptional sports programme and attractive accompanying events, we will witness unforgettable moments that will go down in the history of the city and in the hearts of all participants.

Team Ireland is expected to have 43 athletes, this is the first stepping stone and also their first taste of a major games for many.

EYOF 2023 Maribor includes competitions in the following sports:
artistic gymnastics, athletics, road cycling, mountain biking, handball, judo, swimming, tennis, volleyball, skateboarding and 3×3 basketball.
