Terry Kennedy was named World Rugby Men's Sevens Player of the Year in 2022, the first Ireland Sevens player to receive the award, after finishing as the leading try-scorer on the World Series.
He played at two Olympic Games, finishing tenth with Ireland at Tokyo 2020 and sixth at Paris 2024.
Kennedy was one of the founding members of the Ireland Sevens programme, making his debut in Zagreb in 2015 when the squad began at European level, and became one of the most decorated players in its history. He is from Dundrum, County Dublin.
