Gavin Mullin made his Ireland Sevens debut at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games themselves, having been a late call-up to the squad after joining the programme in August 2020.
He went on to become a regular in the side, playing 45 of his 60 World Series appearances in the 2023/24 season alone, and finished sixth with Ireland at Paris 2024. Ireland finished tenth at Tokyo.
A product of Blackrock College, Mullin spent three years in the Leinster Rugby academy and made two senior appearances for the province. He is from Donnybrook, County Dublin.
