David Kenny competed in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics where he finished 29th in the men’s 20km Race Walk.

He is two in-a-row national champion at 20km and won a bronze medal at the World Athletics Race Walking Tour Event in Podebrady, Czech Republic, setting a personal best of 1:19:44, the second-fastest time by an Irish athlete.
