Mark Roche made 173 World Series appearances for Ireland in rugby sevens and scored 400 points, and was named in the Dream Team at the 2018 London Sevens.
He played at two Olympic Games, finishing tenth with Ireland at Tokyo 2020 and sixth at Paris 2024.
A scrum-half, Roche was one of the founding members of the Ireland Sevens programme, joining in 2015 and playing in its first competitive outing in Zenica, Bosnia. He was part of the squad that won bronze at the 2022 Rugby World Cup Sevens in Cape Town. He is from Glenageary, County Dublin.
