BIOGRAPHY

Deirdre Sheehan competed in the swimming events at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games. Competing at a time when Irish swimming standards were still developing relative to the dominant programmes of the era, she achieved the distinction of qualifying for and racing at an Olympic Games.
