BIOGRAPHY
Ashleigh Orchard competed at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games as a member of the women’s rugby sevens squad.
Orchard is from County Wicklow and developed her rugby career through the Irish club system before progressing into the national sevens programme.
Career highlights include representing Ireland on the World Rugby Sevens Series and contributing to qualification for the Olympic women’s rugby sevens tournament.
She was of Ireland XVs’ Grand Slam win in 2013 and contributed to a famous victory over the Black Ferns in 2014.

Ireland Sevens Squads Confirmed For 2024 Paris Olympics
The Olympic Federation of Ireland has officially selected the Men’s and Women’s Rugby Sevens teams who will compete at the Olympic Games in Paris this summer.
