Aoife Clark finished seventh individually in eventing at the London 2012 Olympic Games, the highest placing achieved by an Irish eventer at the Olympic Games, and was part of the Irish team that finished fifth.
She was a member of the Irish team that won silver at the 2025 European Eventing Championships at Blenheim Palace, Ireland's first team medal in thirty years.
At Paris 2024 she rode Freelance in the team competition as Ireland's replacement athlete, contributing a score of 4.00 penalties as the team finished eighth.
Clark was the first Irish rider to win both the Blenheim and Bramham Horse Trials, and was nominated for Sportswoman of the Year in 2013. She is from Naas, County Kildare.
