Sarah Ennis won team silver and finished fifth individually at the 2018 World Equestrian Games in Tryon, North Carolina.
She made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020, finishing 36th individually on Woodcourt Garrison and contributing to Ireland's eighth-place team finish.
At Paris 2024 she rode Action Lady M, scoring 41.20 penalties for the Irish team that again finished eighth. She completed the cross-country phase before withdrawing ahead of the show jumping.
Ennis also competed at the 2017 European Championships. She is from Howth, County Dublin.
