Michelle Finn has competed in the 3,000 metres steeplechase at two Olympic Games, running 9:49.45 at Rio 2016 and improving to 9:36.26 at Tokyo 2020.
Finn grew up in Castlemagner, County Cork, playing a wide range of sports as a child including Gaelic football, camogie and gymnastics. She studied PE and Irish at the University of Limerick before taking up a four-year athletics scholarship at Western Kentucky University, where she majored in communications. She later completed a master's degree in nutrition.
