Nicci Daly won 200 caps for Ireland and retired after the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games.
A midfielder, she played in the women's hockey tournament at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where Ireland finished tenth.
Daly came to hockey relatively late, taking up the sport at The High School in Rathgar but not joining a club until 2008. Around the same time she was called into the Dublin senior ladies football panel and was named an All-Star in 2009, choosing hockey as Ireland's opportunities grew. She made her senior hockey debut in 2010. She is from Rathfarnham, Dublin.
