Sophie Becker won silver in the women's 4x400 metres relay at the 2024 European Athletics Championships in Rome, where the team set an Irish national record. She placed tenth in the individual 400 metres at the same championships.
At Paris 2024 she was part of the women's 4x400 metres relay team that finished fourth in a national record of 3:19.90, and also ran the individual 400 metres. She made her Olympic debut at Tokyo 2020 in the mixed 4x400 metres relay.
She is from New Ross, County Wexford.
