Tom Fannon

Tom Fannon set an Irish senior record of 21.95 seconds for the 50 metres freestyle at the 2023 Irish Open, breaking Barry Murphy's fourteen-year-old mark of 22.14.

He finished tenth in the men's 50 metres freestyle at the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

A former European junior champion, Fannon swam for England at the 2018 Commonwealth Games before declaring for Ireland through his Galway-born grandfather. He moved to Dublin to train with the National Centre team.
