Jack McMillan set an Irish 200 metres freestyle record of 1:46.66 swimming the lead-off leg of the men's 4x200 metres freestyle relay at the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, where the team finished 14th.

Post Tokyo he went on to represent Team GB.
