BIOGRAPHY

Monika Dukarska and Aileen Crowley were the first Irish crew to compete in the women's coxless pair at an Olympic Games, finishing 11th at Tokyo 2020.

Dukarska grew up cycling around the rowing lake in Poznan without taking up the sport there. Her family moved to Killorglin, County Kerry when she was 16 and she began rowing in 2008.
